robokill doesn't need root permissions (just like sudo), so you need to run it as the current user or grant it access to the /etc/sudoers file.

The end result will be a shell prompt that will look like this:

If you enter your password, then your environment will change, and you will be in the root shell.
If this works, you can make it permanent by adding a line to your ~/.bashrc file.
Had the same problem, I found out I was not to sudo -s because I have root user in my filemanager, sudo -s allowed me to do sudo -i and have the bash menu as if I was using an account with sudo.
